A particularly warm welcome awaits you at Allt Yr Ynys this festive season. Open log fires, soft candlelight and traditional decorations create the perfect ambience for a very special experience.

We have put together a Lunch and Dinner Party menu to be enjoyed with friends, clients, work colleagues, or family this Christmas, offering exceptional value for money at £24.50 per guest, as follows

Christmas Party Lunch & Dinner Menu - 2012

Tian of smoked trout, capers & spring onions, avocado, & a tomato, onion, lime & coriander salsa, with horseradish cream, buttered toasted Welsh bread & dressed rocket

Terrine of roast maize fed chicken breast, roasted red peppers & steamed saffron potatoes with a balsamic vinegar reduction & red onion & sultana chutney.

Cream of brocolli & Stilton soup with herb croutons & a swirl of basil oil (suitable for vegetarians)

Roast breast of Herefordshire turkey with ‘pigs in blankets, sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, caramelised sprouts, bread sauce & a light sherry jus

Party bookings are available daily from the 10th to the 19th of December and also from the 4th to the 15th of January 2011.

Bookings are essential and the minimum group size is 6 guests. We will also require pre-orders.

Also, should you be attending one of our evening parties you may like to stay the night to take full advantage of the full ‘Allt Yr Ynys experience’.  We can offer one of our 19 delightful en suite rooms at reduced rates in December and January when you book a Dinner Party as follows:

• Double or Twin Room for 2 - £75.00 inclusive of continental breakfast
• Double or Twin Room for 1 - £60.00 inclusive of continental breakfast

New Year’s Eve

See in the New Year at Allt Yr Ynys, probably the region’s most atmospheric and scenically attractive hotel.  Festooned in seasonal decorations with roaring log fires and flickering candle light, your evening starts with a welcome drink and canapés followed by a superb four course dinner and dancing to a discotheque playing music to suit all tastes which will continue ’til 1.00am.

The dress code is smart casual and the evening dinner & disco with welcome drink and canapés is £65.00 per guest.

But why not combine our New Year’s Eve Dinner & Disco with a relaxing overnight stay, avoiding the hassle and stress of organising a lift home, and enabling you to enjoy the evening to the full.

For resident guests, our New Year’s Eve  festivities will start with a warm welcome and afternoon tea with hot scones, strawberry jam and thick cream on arrival on the 31st, served in our Drawing Room in front of a roaring log fire.

In the evening, the format is as described above, but the following morning, a leisurely brunch will be served in our restaurant between 9.00am and 11.00am; so you can have a bit of a lie in!

Charges for the above are £125 per guest in shared double or twin bedded accommodation or £165 per guest for single occupancy of a double room.  Our Jacobean 4 Poster room is also available for £165 per guest sharing.  These charges include, afternoon tea & scones, welcome drink and canapés, 4 course dinner, overnight accommodation and brunch.
